The Lowenstein family has benefited tremendously over the years by utilizing the various<br />
services the <strong>Foundation</strong> provides.<br />
Reason #19. Through our Donor Advised Fund and Supporting <strong>Foundation</strong>, we can easily<br />
support many worthy charities without the headaches of a private foundation, such as tax<br />
returns, accounting and check disbursements.<br />
Reason #20. Our Supporting <strong>Foundation</strong> allows us to continue our<br />
multiple generational tradition of philanthropy. Plus, it’s an important<br />
part of my estate plan.<br />
Reason #21. We created a scholarship fund for the B’nai Jehudah<br />
preschool in honor of my wife Babs, who worked with children there<br />
for 33 years.<br />
Reason #22. Every Thanksgiving, our younger grandchildren, nieces and<br />
nephews use a special fund to learn about and support different charities<br />
in our community.<br />
