Regulatory Specialist
Precigen Exemplar is a biotechnology company dedicated to creating
novel animal models of human genetic diseases for research and
therapeutic applications. Precigen Exemplar is a fully owned subsidiary of
Precigen Inc.
The regulatory specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance in all
areas of operation within Precigen Exemplar with a focus on genetically
engineered animal regulations. This individual will maintain regulatory
documents including study data, model specific information, and data for
reporting to regulatory authorities. The regulatory specialist should be
able to author standard operating procedures, compose technical reports
regarding genetic models, and evaluate and interpret research data.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Maintain regulatory compliance with all regulatory authorities including
the USDA, FDA, and AAALAC
•Track materials for biosurveillance, animal health, and study reports
•Organize required testing to meet FDA durability requirements
•Assist the IACUC in tracking the progression of animal model phenotypes
•Serve on the safety committee—composing safety protocols, attending
safety meetings, and participating in facility inspections
•Participate in quality control throughout the company by carrying out
audits as necessary
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field
•Understanding of animal welfare
•Experience with animal research preferred
•Strong scientific writing competencies
•Experience in a quality control environment

LOCATING
TECHNICIAN
In this position you will join a company delivering

but for the future. Primary responsibilities will include

Previous locating experience is preferred, but not required.
