People across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) face restrictions on their freedom of religion and belief. And yet, every year, SAT-7’s viewer support teams receive thousands of messages from viewers, with many telling us how they came to faith, asking questions, and wanting to find out more about Jesus. This year’s Lent resource, Free to believe, shares 40 messages from these viewers with you, one for each day of Lent – from all across the MENA – and invites you simply to pray for them. You’ll also have the opportunity each Sunday to spend some time reflecting on your own journey of faith and writing your own story.

“For a while, I’ve been<br />
searching for the truth and<br />
wanted to know how to get<br />
closer to God. I read many books<br />
about different religions and I was<br />
drawn to Christianity. I searched<br />
for the Bible in Iran but I couldn’t<br />
find one. I tried to go to church but<br />
considering the restrictions in Iran,<br />
I wasn’t allowed to enter. I started<br />
searching for Christian satellite networks<br />
and got acquainted with <strong>SAT</strong>-7.<br />

programmes and I’m experiencing a certain<br />
peace and joy which I have not experienced<br />
