History of Monark
Monark was established at our current location in
1958, with production of integral drill steel.
Monark was a family owned company until 1971,
when the company became a part of Boart Longyear.
After becoming a part of Boart Longyear the production
grew vastly and started exporting drill
rods all over the world.
We were a part off Boart Longyear for 34 years
until 2005, when the company was sold.
Today the company is once again a family owned
business with high focus on quality and customer
service.
After once again becoming an independent company
the product portfolio has grown to be a producer
of complete line of top hammer tools.
The team at Monark is proud of the proven high
quality we supply in all our products to over 60
countries.
