Leica Warranty and Leica UK Passport – A Brief Guide
Leica Warranty
When a new Leica product is purchased from an authorised UK dealer, it comes with a Leica
manufacturer's warranty.
The duration of the warranty depends upon the product - see table below. Under the terms of this
warranty, if a Leica product malfunctions due to mechanical or technical failure of the internal
hardware or software, Leica will repair or replace the product free of charge, depending on the
circumstances. Claims under warranty are subject to specific terms and conditions.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Leica UK Passport
Leica UK Passport is an additional UK specific scheme that provides Leica UK customers (resident in
the UK) with additional peace of mind, providing as it does, cover against malfunction resulting from
accidental damage for one year from the date of original purchase (subject to specific terms and
conditions).
Full terms and conditions applicable to both Leica Warranty and UK Passport schemes can be found
