ADDITIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONSTOBACCO POLICY (AR 6:5)The University of Kentucky has a vital interest in maintaining a safe and healthyenvironment for our students, employees, patients and visitors. The use of alltobacco products is prohibited on all property that is owned, operated, leased,occupied, or controlled by the University, except as otherwise provided in theregulation.HAZING PREVENTION POLICY (AR 6:10)The University is dedicated to promoting a safe and healthy campusenvironment for its students, faculty, staff, and visitors. In addition, theUniversity is committed to cultivating a community that fosters respect for thedignity and rights of all its members. As such, the University does not toleratehazing activities by any members of the University Community.REGULATIONS GOVERNING TIME, PLACE, AND MANNEROF MEETINGS, DEMONSTRATIONS, AND OTHERASSEMBLIES - INTERIM (AR 9:1)Consistent with the United States and Commonwealth Constitutions, allmembers of the University community have a right to free expression, assembly,and advocacy in a peaceful manner. The University does not impose restrictionson speech except where such restrictions are reasonable, justified withoutreference to the content of the speech, narrowly tailored to serve a significantuniversity interest, and leave open ample alternative channels ofcommunication. This Administrative Regulation is established in order tofacilitate the effective use and enjoyment of University facilities for the exerciseof such rights and to minimize conflict between the form of their exercise andthe rights of others in the effective use of University facilities.FOR ALL UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONS,VISIT: UKY.EDU/REGS.
ADDITIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONSUSE OF UNIVERSITY FACILITIES BY REGISTERED STUDENTORGANIZATIONS - INTERIM (AR 9:2)There are specific policies in place regarding the reservation and use ofuniversity facilities. University facilities my be reserved for use by a registeredstudent organization only through officers designated on the application forregistration or a member specifically authorized on the application. Registeredstudent organizations are permitted to use university facilities for fundraisingwhen the specific use of the funds is non-commercial in purpose.
