To know what Good Friday is and
why it’s good despite Jesus Christ
died on the cross, a brutal and most
horrific death.
We must get to the beginning when God
created everything by just speaking his word
and also created man as his own image.
In the beginning, after god had created
Adam and Eve, he loved to fellowship with
them while they walked together in the Garden
of Eden.
Adam and Eve did not know about sin and
evil because they were innocent and pure. God
gave Adam and Eve only one commandment
to obey.
They were not to eat of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil.
God wanted them to know good and evil
through Himself so that they will choose to do
good and love good.
From the beginning, God has given
humankind the power of choice, and He has
never revoked it.
Satan, a powerful fallen angel, deceived
Eve by tempting her to eat the fruit from the
forbidden tree.
He told her she could disobey God without
any consequences and that eating the fruit
would give her Godlike knowledge.
Then Eve chose to eat and offered the
fruit to her husband, and he made the same
terrible mistake.
It was their choice to disobey God. What a
fatal choice!
Their innocence was gone. They now found
they were inclined to do evil.
Their knowledge of good and evil did not
keep them from doing wrong.
Spiritual death passed down to their children
and, eventually, to all their posterity.
The result of sin is death, spiritual
separation from God (Romans
6:23).
The influence of evil is all around us.
We find every evil thing imaginable in our
world today.
But there is hope!
God sent His Son who is equal to God
Himself, equal in Power and Glory to die for
your sins!
Jesus is the Son of God born on earth, fully
man and fully God.
Jesus Christ cleanses us from our inside
evil and restores our relationship, which was
lost since Adam’s time and got us into right
standing with God.
Whatever that evil has caused or brought in a
person’s life, every form of darkness, whether
sickness, disease, torment, fear, nightmares,
unholiness, filthiness, madness, brokenness,
poverty, depression, broken relationships,
loneliness, addiction, bondage and curses,
Jesus delivers from them all. Your right and
hearty confession of Jesus sets you free.
Confess your trespasses and Confess that
Jesus, my life belongs to you.
Confess to follow Him and will depart from
every form of evil rest of your life.
God loves you and has a plan for you!
