WHAT IS THE BRONCO ATHLETIC FUNDThe Bronco Athletic Fund provides resources for student athletesto receive a lasting educational and athletic experience whilecontributing to the financial sustainability of the Athletic Department.The WMU Division of Intercollegiate Athletics’ mission is to produceNCAA Division IA programs characterized by excellence in Athleticsand Academics, while being recognized as a leader among ethical,nondiscriminatory, and fiscally well-managed departments. Athleticprogramming excellence is determined by academic achievement,strong character development, maturity, and a sense of fair play whilebeing competitive. This engenders support among students, faculty,alumni, and friends at the local, state, and national levels.HOW DOES MY GIFT MAKE A DIFFERENCE?With the focused attention of the Bronco Athletic Fund, yourgifts specifically support the areas of greatest need, and we’llwork with you to stay engaged in the impact you’ve made forour student athletes and program.HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF THEBRONCO ATHLETIC FUND?Membership starts at just $50 per year. You can designate yourgift to any area of support within Athletics assuming all priorityseating contributions have been made. Your gift, your choice!IS THE BRONCO ATHLETIC FUND PARTOF ATHLETICS ADVANCEMENT?Yes! The Bronco Athletic Fund is a department within AthleticsAdvancement and the WMU Foundation. Your contributions insupport of our student-athletes are processed through the WMUFoundation.ARE MY BRONCO ATHLETIC FUNDGIFTS TAX DEDUCTIBLE?Philanthropic gifts above and beyond priority seatingrequirements are considered to be tax deductible. Gifts used toreceive priority seating are not deductible per the Tax Cuts andJob Act enacted in 2018.
