ILLUSTRATED GUIDE
While flipping through the pages in this guide, you will see images of Cleburne’s park system, as they
exist today, paired with renderings detailing the exciting and enriching potential of our park system.
Cleburne is home to many recreational amenities including Lake Pat Cleburne, 565 acres of parkland,
a Golf Course, Recreation Center, Splash Station, Sports Complex, and unbounded potential. While the
proposed improvements seen in this plan are not unchangeable, they do serve as a goal for the future
of our parks.
The City of Cleburne Staff are grateful to everyone within the community who participated in the public
input processes. Thank you to the members of our Advisory Committee, Parks and Recreation Board, 4B
Economic Development Corporation Board, and City Council for their commitment to creating beautiful
and functional parks, recreational opportunities, trails, and open spaces that the Cleburne community
will enjoy for generations to come.
A community’s heart and soul lies within its parks and Cleburne is no different. As our City continues to
