Whose work has influenced you most?My work is influenced by so many differentwriters, poets, and people in general that it'svery hard to pinpoint one influence. I also trynot to study my work too much, because then Ijust start picking at it, so it’s hard to say whoseinfluenced me the most. I really like Daphne duMaurier though and have been reading lots ofher work in the past two years or so, anddefinitely think in terms of writing fiction atleast,she’s been the most influential on me. It wasafter reading a collection of her short storiesdid I really want to start pursuing fiction. Ireally love how attentive to detail she was andhow her writing was never afraid to push theboundaries of fiction and how a woman writesit.
