Until We Meet Again

THANK YOU

For your thoughtfulness.

Your love, generosity and support during this

difficult is greatly appreciated by the family.

To everything there is a season, a time for every matter

under heaven; a time to be born and a time to die; a time

to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to

weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to

dance; a time to keep and a time to cast away.

- Ecclesiastes

I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, and I remained faithful.

And now the price awaits me – the crown of righteousness, which the

Lord will give me on the day of his return. 2 Timothy 4: 7-8

Eulogy for Amos and Pinky Nkosi,

(Our beloved Mother and Father)

Mr Mandinda Amos Nkosi (75 yrs ) and Mrs Mary Mmakagae Joyce Nkosi (69 yrs) [ affectionately known as Pinky]

were united in Holy Matrimonial for (47yrs). Years of inseparable connectedness . Indeed love never dies. Together

they shared more than five decades of life & love.

Death came for our parents in very short intervals. How devastating and painful it is. Pinky Nkosi born on 26 July

1952 and ceased living on 04 July 2021. Amos Nkosi born on 22 April 1946 and passed on the 05th July 2021. Their

lives and deaths were connected and inseparable in many ways, partnership for life, love forever, wonderful, kind and

God fearing at all times. We will always remember love, never dies through the love they both shared.

Ordinary people who lived heroic and peaceful lives - On 04 July 2021 and 05 July 2021 respectively the family

was horrified grief-stricken and paralysed at the passing of our parents grandma and grandpa our pillars of strength

and faith. They both, ceased living due to COVID-19 Delta related complications. Lives and Love Union that should not

be mourned but celebrated. This is our way of immortalizing our parents story:

Pinky Nkosi(nee’Mogoane) was born by the late Billy and Nomvula Magdelina Mogoane (nee’ Malindi) married to

Amos Nkosi who was born by the late Geleni Albert and Eanica Nkosi (nee’ Zimo )

Responsible Life - Our parents were united in holy matrimony on 14 December1974 blessed with four children (2

boys ) and ( 2 girls) and 8 grand children ( 4 boys) and ( 4 girls). Both grew up and started early stages of their lives

in Benoni and later moved to Boksburg where they met their untimely death. Mr Amos Nkosi a stalwart karate, body

builder, sales professional and Brand Manager held different positions from Jewish motorbike and portable radio shopfurnished-

Clover and African life. He holds a lifetime underwriter Certificate from Underwriters Associations of South

Africa, Life, Mrs Pinky Nkosi a stalwart teacher training and development held certificates in Teacher Diploma Daveyton

College- Higher Education Diploma ( RAU) - Dip Educ Computer Literacy ( cum Laude) - EFA North- HIV / AIDS

Train the trainer GAPSA. She worked at Lesabe Primary School for 32 years and retired in 2008. Amos Nkosi worked

at and retired in ( date). She Pricipaled Faith Academy Christian School in a manner that will not be forgotten. They

both raised their children to fear the Lord. Full of discipline they imparted to their children importance of family, caring

for others, hard work and went an extra mile to ensure they always stay in their best behaviour. Their lives anchored

and focused on prayer and dedication to the Lord.

Unending Love, Strength amidst hardships of life – For three decades they faced harsh realities, of apartheid,

being robbed of her rightful inheritance of land at Doornkop and inequality. Extraordinary people they were they worked

hard took their children to school. Never ashamed of situations that faced them. Always-keeping family focused at

peace and united. Biggest family value was that of prayer and the power of faith. They are survived by Tebogo, Bafana,

Lindiwe and Phumzile and 8 grand children. May both souls rest in peace and rise in glory!!! Your legacy live long

on throughout generations to come!!!

Life without Our Parents - We shared tears of grief and how COVID -19 Delta robbed us of your lives. It was a

blessing to have been a part of you both and learned your life as a story book. A story book we will forever keep in our

hearts. We will never heal from this tragedy however we will learn to live with the pain and pray God’s comfort daily as

we keep your life story book in our hearts. Days are lonely, nights are cold, comfort comes from knowing that both your

lives were well lived. Knowing that your departure was together makes us feel better and healed.

Death where is your sting? Grave where is your victory? Our parents bodies are at rest now, though it is harder to

bear they will both be dearly missed rest in peace Bankosi ( isithagazelo sa Nkosi) We shall forever remember “ theirs

was decades of survival - marriage obstacles and not only surpassing all human understanding through love. Their

love conquered everything. For both loved not sometimes only or for a passing moment but always to death!!!

COVID-19 Delta varient you are a coward!!! Cruel!!! O leswena !!! Ononya!!!

“Moo Dithlako tsa pele di gatilego, le rena re tla gata.

Lapho abadala ba dlule khona ku lapho siyoya Nathi!!!

Re tla direla Modimo kamehla”.

Siyo hlala si Mdumisa Unkulunkulu !!!!
