Every day many litres of domestic water drawn from the kitchen tap are used
for cooking or for making tea and, of course, to clean the house. When it comes
to drinking a glass of water, however, many people are put off by the taste of
tap water which is not always as agreeable as it should be. The solution to this
problem comes courtesy of GROHE.
GROHE Blue makes it possible to draw fresh, pure and great-tasting water directly
from your kitchen tap. Naturally flowing and perfectly filtered, this drinking water
comes from a convenient source which is suitable for every modern home.

GROHE Blue fulfils consumers’ desire for pure and fresh drinking water combined
with convenience, fun and environmental awareness.
This is how it works.
- A filter is installed below the sink out of sight. This filter removes heavy metals,
lime, chlorine and other impurities from the water.
- A dedicated waterway carries the filtered
water to the mixer whose new mousseur
features two separate areas for filtered
and unfiltered water. These completely
separate waterways mean that the filtered
water has no contact with the mixers
metal parts which could potentially taint
its pleasant taste.
As a result, the consumer can enjoy a
drink of fresh water at any given time and
without giving the quality of the water a
second’s thought.

ON TAP
Featuring a contemporary design,
the unique GROHE Blue is exceedingly
easy to operate.
While a single lever is provided for the
customary mixer function, the rotating
handle controlling the flow of the filtered
water bears a GROHE Blue inscription.
An LED display on the handle blinks
when the filter capacity drops below
10 percent at which time just about 50
litres of filtered water can still be drawn.
This leaves plenty of time to order a new
filter cartridge so that fresh water can be
enjoyed without interruption.
The enjoyment afforded by GROHE
Blue is complemented by a high degree
of convenience. Statistics show that
an average four-person household
consumes some 700 litres of bottled
water in the course of one year meaning
that approximately 700 kilos need to be
transported from supermarket shelves to
kitchen cupboards. People can now put an
end to all this, for GROHE Blue puts
great-tasting water at their fingertips at
any time and in any desired quality.
Tests have shown that GROHE Blue
water tastes at least as good, and even
better, than leading still mineral waters

How long will a filter last?
The filter cartridge has a maximum service
life of 600 litres or 6 months in operation.
When will I have to replace the filter?
When the LED flashes yellow then it is
time to replace the filter.
What is the shelf life of unused filters?
The filter cartridge has a maximum shelf
life of 5 years in unopened condition.
Can an enduser replace a filter?
Yes, it is very easy to do
What happens when the filter is full?
Will the mixer still dispense water?
Will this water be contaminated?
When the filter capacity has been depleted,
the filter is no longer capable of purifying
the water and the LED will flash in yellow.
Can I adjust the filter to different degrees
of water hardness?
Yes, this filter can be adjusted to different
degrees of water hardness. Look for the
adjusting screw on top of the filter head.

Where can I buy the replacement filters?
Replacement filters are available from
Paterson or through retailers.
Is this mixer suitable for use with all
types of hot water heaters or are there
any exceptions?
Operation with unpressurised storage
heaters is not possible.
Will the mixer also work during a
power outage?
Yes, the filter will continue to dispense
filtered GROHE Blue® water during a
power outage, although it will not capture
any data during this time.
