Russian Tourism to Egypt to Resume
Russian tourism to Egypt is expected to resume this summer,
said Russian ambassador in Cairo Georgiy Borisenko during
a recent visit to Hurghada. Speaking at a press conference, Borisenko
said that Russian aviation authorities are working on
the return of flights to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh after a
six-year hiatus. The ambassador praised the anti-coronavirus
efforts made by the Egyptian government and precautionary
and security measures taken by the Sharm El-Sheikh and
Hurghada airports to increase safety for arriving tourists.
