Martin Martinez is a successful entrepreneur who has
launched a number of tech-related businesses. He
is devoted to his family and community and looks for
opportunities to give back.
He often volunteers to mentor young alumni through his
alma mater. Through a college event he meets Jessica
Johnson and learns about her work with CleanWater.
Inspired by her passion, he offers to provide funding to
help CleanWater reach additional communities in Peru. He
also wants CleanWater to expand into neighboring Ecuador,
where his mother was born.
Because this is new territory for him and Johnson, Martinez
hires Spring Impact to help assess CleanWater’s readiness
to scale and provide support through the scaling journey.
Through Spring Impact, Martinez learns how important it
is for him to be flexible in his funding approach and how
CleanWater’s journey to scale will take persistence, pivots,
and vision.
