St. John’s
Pumpkin Patch
Opens this Month
Pick the perfect pumpkin
during the month of October
at St. John’s Episcopal
Church Pumpkin Patch.
The church will have a
large assortment of pumpkins
and gourds from October
2 through October
31 on the front lawn at 237
Pleasant Street, Franklin.
Visitors can shop Monday
through Friday from 4 to 6
p.m., as well as Saturdays
and Sundays from noon to
6 p.m.
Adding to the fun, children
can enjoy games and
activities on the front lawn.
The pumpkins and
gourds are grown on a Navajo
reservation in New
Mexico and provide jobs for
its people. The growers use
sustainable farming practices,
so they’re gentle on the
earth.
So grab a gourd. Select
a squash. Pick your perfect
pumpkin and remember: it’s
cool to shop local!
