Shop in Time for the Holidays
The Judaica Shop is now open Fridays and Sundays from 10
a.m.-1 p.m., and continues to offer items like Yahrzeit and
Hanukkah candles as well as dreidels for the upcoming
holidays.

The Mitzvah of Warm-up America Continues
this Fall
Let’s keep this mitzvah
going! Colder weather
will soon be here. We
need people to crochet or
knit rectangles (7 inch by
9 inch) in medium weight,
acrylic yarn of any color.
We also need people to
sew rectangles together
by hand into blankets of
various sizes. Please
come by on a second
Tuesday of the month
and we will show you how. It’s easy and fun! We will be
meeting outside in the synagogue courtyard on the second
Tuesday morning of the month. Fall meeting dates are: October
12, November 9, and December 14 at 10:30 a.m.
Holiday Care Packages to College Students
Sisterhood was excited to send Holiday care packages to 31
Beth Meyer college students last week to remind them of their
ties to our community and to wish them a very happy and
successful school year. Sisterhood sent out 31 snack boxes to
college students this September with the Hanukkah boxes
scheduled to go out in November.
Date: Saturday, November 6

Time: 7:30-9 p.m.
Location: Zoom
Who: Open to all Sisterhood and community members, as
well as family and friends from near and far!
Prizes: $5 Amazon gift cards will be sent to the winners via
email after the event.
Once again, COVID has upended our hopes for in person
Sisterhood Trivia Night. Instead, we are pleased to offer a
repeat of the highly successful Zoom Jukebox Bingo by
Keith Alan Productions.
Join us and sing along with the music. Gone are the boring
“B-6” and “O-64” bingo numbers. Our host will play songs
from the last few decades. As you start to sing along, find
the song title on your bingo card and mark it off. When you
match five songs titles in a row, yell “Bingo!” to claim your
prize! A total of four games will be played. Game rules will
be provided when Jukebox bingo cards are emailed.
Minimum Cost: $20 (includes two cards per game/eight
cards total).
Additional Costs: If you wish to play more than the two
cards included in the initial cost for more chances to win or
have additional people at home who would like to play,
please feel free to purchase additional cards for each round
at $5 for two cards. Please specify for which round you
would like your additional cards when paying.
Payments must be received by October 29 and can be paid
either by check made out to Beth Meyer Sisterhood, 504
Newton Rd., Raleigh, NC 27615, or PayPal via
paypal.me/BMSisterhood.
