INTRODUCTION

Chovis Gam sacchdanand Medical and Research centre trust was established in

2004 under the leader ship of Dr. Paresh Patel,M.D. The vision of the trust was

to “promote health-education and health care amongst the community to

achieve the goal of this vision a multispeciality hospital was planned to cater

the need of community at affordable rate. In addition a nursing and

physiotherapy school in conjunction with the hospital was also envisaged. To

make the dream true, fund-raising drive was begun in the United States and UK

and paramedical school in conjuction with the hospital was also envisaged.To

and subsequently the trust purchased a piece of land in 2005 to build the

hospital and paramedical school Facility.However, due to certain legal issues

pertaining to the purchased land ,the construction could not be started

immediately.

Nonetheless, fully functional Shraddha Hospital facility with thirty bed

was installed in a modified dormitory building of the Excellent English

Medium School in Vehra, Gujarat, in January 2008, Dr. Paresh Patel

being its chief medicalofficer.Honourable Health minister of Gujarat

State Jay Narayan Vyas inaugurated the Hospital in presence of large

number of local and NRI people.

In March 2015 the hospital was moved to a new building having 110-bed

capacity. At present the hospital has well equipped surgical and medical

facility providing inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital has

Emergency wing, Deluxe and Semi-deluxe rooms, Male/Female wards,

Outpatient wing, Maternity room, Physical Therapy, ICU, Recovery

rooms, dental facility, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Administrative facility

area, Diagnostic centre equipped with X-ray machine, Sonogram, C-arm,

Colour Doppler and CT scan.
