Pics by Cloud 9 photography SA, Sean Versveld. Linex Yamaha Junior Development series picks up again... Thanks to lockdown restrictions play has been interrupted in many of our sports disciplines. The Terra Topia event was postponed, but as things slowly start turning, Dirt Bronco hosted a race day with around 80 enthusiastic juniors mid-August. It was a fabulous event on a really crappy, cold, windy day. Racing started at 8h30 with the very tired, happy participants heading for home late in the afternoon. Much excitement at racing again and big smiles was the order of the day. Many of the kids who started out in the juniors have moved up – and there is an influx of new blood coming in to the game all the time – and that’s what this series is designed for. Safe, fun racing – and a great grounding for the future. Bikes of all shapes and sizes are welcome – and it’s so cool to see so many of the older biukes being dusted off and raced again. It’s no longer a case of a two or 3 brand race – and if you have a PW or similar knocking around get you kids out there. Here are some pics of the action.
