peak of blooming. Mildcx and
Karathane are also effective.
Remember also when rains
come to be sine giound and
foliage is diy before walking
in the garden. Walking on wet
ground spieads mst. mildew,
and other hnrmful fungus. Rotter
to let n few beans or pens
become too old on the vines,
than to lose the whole patch
from rust or mildew.
Mildew in squash, cantnloupe
nnd cucumbers can better be
controlled with mlx-tu- boideaux ie
Sulphur alone will often
burn the foliage of these plants.
Mildcx or Karathane are also
effective.
Roses and zinnias respond
quickly to a dusting of sulphur
when mildew strikes the foliage
of these plants.
Take time out to go through
the garden nnd remove nil old
flowers nnd badly damaged
leaves; have the garden in
good shnpc, so the fall rains
enn produce a bountiful crop
of flowers and vegetables; to
enrich the "Good Earth" this
fall.
