A Roll in the Hay is a lighthearted and highly

through words and music.
The Antonius Players join forces with one of the

Archers actress, Sunny Ormonde (better known
to Ambridge listeners as Lillian Bellamy).
Together they explore the joys of the
countryside through stories, poems and foottapping
music plus anecdotes from the much
loved radio programme.

Full of action, pathos and silent comedy
from a bygone era, The Lion Tamer combines
circus skills, slapstick comedy and live piano
accompaniment to bring you a black-and-white
movie show from the golden age of the silver
screen.
A down at heel showman is rapidly running
out of acts for his travelling circus when a
stranger arrives in town. When the lion tamer
has an unfortunate accident, the newcomer is
‘volunteered’ for the job.
Inspired by the comic genius of Buster Keaton
and Charlie Chaplin, the show is a delightfully
entertaining evocation of the silent movie era
which audiences of all ages will adore.
