Italian popular food pizza in Korea
If you ask us about Italian food, what is the first thing that comes
to mind? Most people will think of pizza, and to that extent,
pizza is popular in Korea.
However, I suffered from severe atopy as a child, so my parents
were against eating wheat flour, and I did not try wheat flour
food until I was 6 years old. Then one day in kindergarten, I first
learned about pizza, and when I tasted it for the first time, it was
like tasting food in heaven. After I ate pizza for the first time, I
asked my parents to buy me a pizza for my birthday, and after
that, I ate pizza every year on my birthday.
My parents had to move every two
years due to work circumstances. It
was difficult to make new
friends while moving, but my
parents helped me make new
friends when first went to school in
the neighborhood I moved in, and
they always invited my friends to
their house to order food, and the
food was my favorite pizza. With
the help of my parents, I was able
to eat food with my friends and get
to know each other even after
transferring to school.

When it was my 16th birthday, my
parents asked me to go on a trip to
Europe with my grandmother and
grandfather. While traveling in Europe,
I was excited to travel to Italy, where
my favorite food is famous, and I was
able to make and eat traditional Italian
pizza there. However, contrary to
expectations, the toppings were very
different from the pizza we ate, and
the method of making it was very
different. The typical difference is that
Korean pizza is made using an oven,
whereas Italian pizza is made using an
oven
