ISU Extensionand Outreach offers educationalresources for family caregivers.Powerful Tools for Caregivers isa program for caregivers whoprovide care for a spouse, parentor friend with a chronic conditionsuch as dementia or Alzheimer’sdisease. The program providesinformation, support strategies,communication techniques,stress reduction ideas and resourcesto assist family caregiverswith their concerns related tocaregiving.An online Powerful Toolsfor Caregivers of Adults withChronic Conditions series isscheduled for six Tuesdays, February8 – March 15, from 10:00am – 11:30 am.
