WHAT IS THE BRONCO ATHLETIC FUND?
INTRODUCING DAN BARTHOLOMAE
The Bronco Athletic Fund provides resources for student athletes to receive a
lasting educational and athletic experience while contributing to the financial
sustainability of the Athletic Department. The WMU Division of Intercollegiate
Athletics’ mission is to produce NCAA Division IA programs characterized by
excellence in Athletics and Academics, while being recognized as a leader
among ethical, nondiscriminatory, and fiscally well-managed departments.
Athletic programming excellence is determined by academic achievement,
strong character development, maturity, and a sense of fair play while being
competitive. This promotes support among students, faculty, alumni, and
friends at the local, state, and national levels.

a department within Athletics
Advancement and the WMU
Foundation. Your contributions
in support of our studentathletes
are processed through
the WMU Foundation.
Dan Bartholomae, Oregon State University’s executive deputy athletic director and
chief operating officer, took over the reins of Bronco Athletics on Jan. 1, 2022. As WMU’s
new AD, Bartholomae is responsible for the administration and oversight of nearly 400
student-athletes and 16 NCAA Division I athletics programs. Bartholomae is excited to
build lasting relationships with the community, student-athletes, alumni, and fans while
working toward comprehensive excellence.

Membership starts at just $50 per year.
You can designate your gift to any area
of support within Athletics assuming all
priority seating contributions have been
made. Your gift, your choice!
ARE MY GIFTS TAX
DEDUCTIBLE?
Philanthropic gifts above and beyond
priority seating requirements are
considered to be tax deductible. Gifts
used to receive priority seating are not
deductible per the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
