A display of <strong>Desert</strong> <strong>Dada</strong> cards is like having a small art gallery in your store.
All cards are blank inside. The back of each card features a story about “The Wild Hat Contest” that lists the names of the plants and wildlife in the paintings. On one such spring day, a baby javelina rested in the shade of a blooming cactus amid a tangle of wildflowers — blackfoot daisies, desert trumpets, chinchweed, Mojave aster, angel trumpets, and globemallow. He was spied by a raven making his rounds of social calls. “How odd,” thought the bird. “He’s wearing a cactus pad for a hat.” It wasn’t long before the gossipy bird had broadcast what he’d just seen to everyone in the territory.
