When the Clevedencouple asked Greg from The Wee KitchenShop round his previous experience workingwith a wet and dry rot and damp proofingcompany, sealed the deal for them.‘I knew what I wanted design wise,’says Monica. ‘And we’d seen the quality ofthe kitchens in the showroom in Broomhill –so already loved the look of what Gregdid. When he explained his background indampproofing we just knew the work wouldbe completed properly and not come back tohaunt us in months or years to come.‘I also appreciated that Greg listened anddidn’t try to sell us his vision. I wanted the sinkmoved away from the window with a smallwindow seat put in and Greg gave us exactlywhat I was hoping for.‘Greg did suggest more drawers thancupboards, where possible, so we couldaccess the back and see what was in theremore easily – great as we get older. And healso suggested an induction hob, which Idiscounted at first, being used to gas.‘However, I went round a few placeslooking at appliances and couldn’t see whatI wanted. I’d been asking for more surfacearea and realised that the induction hob wouldactually give me that as I can put a choppingboard on it and use it as prep space when it’snot in use, and I love it!‘No matter how great I think Greg isthough, his team are exceptional. They are allgreat tradespeople with a really high qualityof work – and tidy too.
