Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board as well as on the Narrative
Medicine Track of Distinction Advisory Board for CUNY’s School
of Medicine. Hegamin has been a victim and patient advocate since
1998, working as an educator and counselor for organizations like
Women Against Rape, Planned Parenthood, Police Athletic League,
JPMorgan and Johnson& Johnson/Janssen Pharmaceutical.
PAUL O. JENKINS lives in New Hampshire and increasingly
in the past. He admires the work of Ted Kooser, Theodore Roethke,
and fellow librarian Philip Larkin.
MATTHEW JOHNSON's poetry has appeared in Maudlin House,
Front Porch Review, Maryland Literary Review, and elsewhere. A
native of New Rochelle, NY, he spent the majority of his childhood
in Stratford, CT. A former sports journalist (USA Today College,
The Daily Star in Oneonta, NY), he's an MA graduate of UNC-
Greensboro and a two-time Best of the Net Nominee. His debut
collection, Shadow Folks and Soul Songs (Kelsay Books) was released
in 2019. His second poetry collection is scheduled for release in Fall
2022 by New York Quarterly.
JOHN KENNEDY was born in Seattle, Washington, but after
several stops along the way made north-central Vermont his home.
He lives with his wife and two children. He writes for fun and has
never published a poem before. He is a public high school teacher
for fun and money.
