The EMS ensures that excess from electricity production
can be stored in a battery storage system and resupplied
if required. This results in maximum self-consumption.
Active load management optimises the individual consumption
profile of your operation. The power consumption (e.g. in
the production stage) is shifted from low-sun to sunny hours.
This is made possible by intelligent control, which among
other things accesses weather forecasts.

In the event of extremely high demand, there are “peaks” in power consumption.
They influence grid stability and electricity procurement <strong>costs</strong>: The higher the
peaks, the greater the electricity <strong>costs</strong>. The more evenly the electricity is pur-
chased, the lower the <strong>costs</strong>. Peak shaving can be used to smooth out consumption
peaks by briefly reducing power consumption. The price of electricity falls again.
Electricity is cheaper than petrol or diesel. If you also convert
your entire vehicle fleet to electric mobility along with the
forklift trucks, the EMS will help to ensure smooth operations
and cut <strong>costs</strong>.
Solar power systems are disconnected from the public
grid in the event of a power failure. The optionally available
back-up function of your battery storage system protects
your company in the event of a power failure and continues
to be supplied with power. Unimportant energy-consuming
appliances switch off. This means that you no longer need
expensive, environmentally harmful diesel generator sets.
Grid-Friendly
Services
Electricity from renewable energies is not constantly
fed into the power grid. This leads to regular fluctuations.
Grid operators therefore need available energy capacities
(regulated energy) at short notice, which your storage
system can provide or absorb.

What should you do if you
produce excess electricity?

Here is an example: If your company is not working at the
weekend and no electricity is consumed, simply feed your
unused photovoltaic electricity into the public grid. For this
purpose, you will receive a fixed feed-in tariff in accordance
with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG). From a plant
output of 100 kWp, you are legally obliged to market your
electricity directly, i.e. to sell it on the electricity exchange.
In this context, we also offer a simple solution that offers you
high cost transparency, an attractive contract model and a
best price guarantee. This means that, despite fluctuating
electricity exchange prices, you will receive at least the set
feed-in tariff in accordance with the Renewable Energy
Sources Act. Direct marketing is therefore already worthwhile
for systems with an installed output of 50 kWp or more.

You can use your self-generated solar power in your company
whenever you need it. This means that you are independent and
can reduce your electricity procurement <strong>costs</strong> by at least a third.
2 – Planning and cost security
Your self-generated electricity always <strong>costs</strong> the same and is much
cheaper than electricity from the public grid. This allows you to
calculate based on a constant electricity price in the long term.
3 – On the safe side
When the sun isnʼt shining, a commercial storage system makes
energy available. It also protects your company from power outages
with an optional emergency power supply. Your machines

Success story 1.
Green electricity for
Herrmann Kräuter.
Every week, the Herrmann Kräuter gardening
and packaging company delivers 200
tonnes of freshly chopped herbs to major
customers including hotels and restaurants,
as well as food retailers.
The power consumption for cooling the
fresh herbs, for the packaging machines
and for lighting the greenhouses is enormous.
Not only during the day, but also
at night. For example, the company was
looking for a holistic energy solution, with as
little electricity as possible from the public
grid. Due to the high consumption around
the clock, together with our Premium Partner
Kempa-Elektrotechnik, we have installed
a photovoltaic system with an output of 416
kWp and an additional storage unit with a
capacity of 207 kWh.

The plant is controlled by an energy management
system (EMS), which brings the
powerful appliances, the PV system, the
existing combined heat and power plant
(CHP) and electromobility into balance.
Herrmann Kräuter manages to avoid load

via the photovoltaic system. As a

Autohaus Dresen wanted to provide its
customers and employees with a charging
infrastructure for e-mobility, but there was a
lack of the corresponding grid connection
capacity. The planned e-charging infrastructure
of the car dealership with a total of
eight charging stations, including a 50 kW
direct current rapid charging station, has
around 193 kW with simultaneous use of all
stations at full power. The existing power
connection, on the other hand, can only
serve a maximum output of 150 kW.

Complete solar package for
the Dresen car dealership.
E-mobility, but sustainable.
Instead of expanding the power supply at
a high cost, the dealership has invested
directly in a sustainable energy supply from
solar power. In addition to the photovoltaic
system, the energy solution includes a
commercial storage system and an energy
management system. With the energy
solution, the car dealership has realised a
secure, independent and overall efficient
energy supply for the charging stations and
the entire operation. Previously unproductive
roof surfaces were used for a high-performance
photovoltaic system that now
produces its own electricity. This is up to 50
percent cheaper than grid electricity and
solves the risk of rising electricity prices.
Thanks to the storage solution perfectly
tailored to the system and the smart energy
management system, the self-generated
solar power is stored and intelligently managed
as required.
