Breezes Resort Gets Presidential Welcome
Breezes Resort & Spa Panama,
the first Super-Inclusive resort in
Central America, officially opened
its doors December 12, 2009 with
statewide luminaries, including
Excelentísimo Sr. Ricardo Martinelli,
president of the Republic of Panama. Located in the coastal
community of Santa Clara, just 90 minutes from Panama
City, the 294-room resort has been booked solid with consumers
and agents since its soft opening October 1, 2009.

at Caribbean Marketplace,
held Jan. 10th in Puerto
Rico. The award is the highest honor bestowed by the Caribbean
Hotel & Tourism Association, recognizing superior achievement
in Resort Operations, Food & Beverage, Marketing and Sales,
Resort Maintenance, Staff Training and Motivation, Innovative
Management, Environmental Practices, Community Affairs, and
Involvement with National and Regional (CHTA) lodging industry
associations. Dick and his wife Joyce (left) were previously given
the same honor in 1988, making them the only family to have
received the award twice.

launch of the Jamaica Tourist Board’s Winter Rescue sales blitz
across the United States, providing travel agents with updates

Saint Lucia United at Caribbean Marketplace
The Saint Lucia Tourist Board
(SLTB) and the Ministry of
Tourism and Civil Aviation joined
their private sector partners,
including hotels, destination
management companies, tour operators and travel agencies to
position the Eastern Caribbean nation as a premier location for
