Breezes Resort Gets Presidential Welcome<br />

Breezes Resort & Spa Panama,<br />

the first Super-Inclusive resort in<br />

Central America, officially opened<br />

its doors December 12, 2009 with<br />

statewide luminaries, including<br />

Excelentísimo Sr. Ricardo Martinelli,<br />

president of the Republic of Panama. Located in the coastal<br />

community of Santa Clara, just 90 minutes from Panama<br />

City, the 294-room resort has been booked solid with consumers<br />

and agents since its soft opening October 1, 2009.<br />

Rico. The award is the highest honor bestowed by the Caribbean<br />

Hotel & Tourism Association, recognizing superior achievement<br />

in Resort Operations, Food & Beverage, <strong>Marketing</strong> and Sales,<br />

Resort Maintenance, Staff Training and Motivation, Innovative<br />

Management, Environmental Practices, Community Affairs, and<br />

Involvement with National and Regional (CHTA) lodging industry<br />

associations. Dick and his wife Joyce (left) were previously given<br />

the same honor in 1988, making them the only family to have<br />

received the award twice.<br />
