Mary's last baby was born in April 1784. Her husband remarried and had a child by the next wife in
June of 1787. Consequently, it's highly likely that Mary died after April 1784 but before September
1786, which is nine months before the next wife had her first baby with Amos. It was not unusual then
for a woman to die as a result of giving birth, so it's quite possible Mary died in April 1784 or shortly
thereafter.
