Corbels: Add Relief<br />
Integrating corbels and consoles provides 3D<br />
relief to relatively flat surfaces. They mimic<br />
structural supports but are purely decorative. One can add one of<br />
our steel supports brackets behind them to take load in the case<br />
of raised bars. Regardless of style, Corbels provide a fun factor<br />
to design. A corbel has a large projection while a Console is thin<br />
as shown in the left. Consoles are normally head pilasters on<br />
either side of doors. Today more detail is the trend, and what<br />
better way than to introduce Corbels and Consoles to your project.<br />
