1 year, full-time<br />

This postgradu<strong>at</strong>e programme is designed for gradu<strong>at</strong>es<br />

interested in pursuing a career in marketing consultancy,<br />

marketing research, and marketing management in either<br />

n<strong>at</strong>ional or intern<strong>at</strong>ional food companies, retailers or support<br />

agencies. The programme will enhance your applied marketing<br />

skills in by providing you with an integr<strong>at</strong>ed understanding of<br />

decision-making processes concerning products and markets<br />

<strong>at</strong> all stages of the food chain. Skills acquired will be relevant<br />

to all facets of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) area.<br />

The programme will develop your quantit<strong>at</strong>ive techniques,<br />

report writing, communic<strong>at</strong>ion and resource management<br />

skills. These skills and the marketing orient<strong>at</strong>ion established<br />

during the programme will be highly transferable into non-food<br />

This degree provides students with a political science based<br />

understanding of the n<strong>at</strong>ure, challenges and dilemmas of<br />

contemporary government and governance <strong>at</strong> n<strong>at</strong>ional, local,<br />

regional and global levels, addressing both conceptual issues<br />

and policy deb<strong>at</strong>es. The programme is also designed to enable<br />

students to develop high-level research and analytical skills.<br />

designed to provide world-class learning for those involved in<br />

the management of health services who oper<strong>at</strong>e in an everchanging<br />

environment th<strong>at</strong> regularly presents new challenges.<br />

A balance is struck between the technology management<br />

activities and the analysis/development activities th<strong>at</strong> affect<br />

the practice and theory of inform<strong>at</strong>ion systems in modern<br />

organis<strong>at</strong>ions. This course prepares students to understand<br />

how organis<strong>at</strong>ions oper<strong>at</strong>e and how the factors affecting their<br />

performance can be finely tuned using inform<strong>at</strong>ion systems. In<br />

this programme, the applied aspects of building, leveraging and<br />

managing Inform<strong>at</strong>ion Systems and Inform<strong>at</strong>ion Technologies<br />

rely on both classroom and practical computer labor<strong>at</strong>ory<br />

interaction where students are taught from beginner level.<br />

internship in year 2<br />

Within the current job market, a strong need exists for<br />

gradu<strong>at</strong>es with practical expertise in both Inform<strong>at</strong>ion Systems<br />

and Management Accounting. The MBS in MIMAS is aimed<br />

<strong>at</strong> meeting th<strong>at</strong> need and provides students with an industry<br />

oriented programme within two rel<strong>at</strong>ed disciplines; those<br />

of Management Accounting and Management Inform<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

Systems. This is a challenging degree programme open<br />

to all gradu<strong>at</strong>es with minimal exposure to computing and<br />

accounting, both of which are taught from an introductory level<br />

This programme is delivered entirely over the Internet and is<br />

designed for gradu<strong>at</strong>es of all disciplines across Arts, Sciences<br />

and Engineering, Commerce, Humanities and Social Sciences,<br />

Law and Languages who have <strong>at</strong> least two years practical<br />

experience in the co-oper<strong>at</strong>ive or social enterprise field. It<br />

introduces non-business gradu<strong>at</strong>es to the world of co-oper<strong>at</strong>ive<br />

business while deepening understanding of business as applied<br />

to co-oper<strong>at</strong>ive and social enterprises for those who already<br />

possess qualific<strong>at</strong>ions in the business field.<br />
