2010-2011 school year budget is approved<br />
<strong>The</strong> cut of freshman sports will reduce the chance of play time <strong>for</strong> many young<br />
high school athletes who will battle upperclassmen <strong>for</strong> the opportunity. It is also<br />
plausible to assume that competitiveness in Junior Varsity and Varsity sports<br />
could dwindle due to a lack of experience on the field or court.<br />

On April 0th the School Board<br />
unanimously approved the 010-<br />
011 fiscal school year budget <strong>for</strong><br />
Frederick County Public Schools.<br />

was a $7.1 million budget short<br />
fall, many unpopular proposals<br />
