Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland
Financial Statements for year ending 31 October 2021
The gender balance is something we have been struggling with for some years as the
suicide rate amongst young males 16-34 are significantly elevated and they are our target
demographic for suicide prevention information and supports. However, we have
targeted resources to reaching this demographic through schools outreach and work
with youth groups, sports clubs and other community based organisations.
Social Media Presence
We had a very strong organic presence during 2021 but we also relied on promoted posts
and stories to reach targeted audiences. Our maximum page reach was in February 2021
during the 3 rd wave when we were promoting our “Stay Sane During Lockdown”
campaign where we reached 805,892 post impressions.
