A key to the College of Engineering’s success is its
ability to commercialize its research. Faculty as well as
students are continually marketing their technologies
to benefit people worldwide. Since 2006, the college
has filed 1,113 invention disclosures, 356 U.S. patents,
executed 115 licenses and launched 98 companies from
its research.
