EXPLORER CANDLE<br />
The Explorer Collection evokes an unceasing desire to<br />
explore and a persisting curiosity about the unknown.<br />
Our trio of candles have been carefully developed to<br />
encourage exploration of inner and outer worlds alike,<br />
drawing on scent’s unique ability to transport the<br />
imagination to other moments or places in time.<br />
The three new scents have been developed by British<br />
perfumer Lyn Harris exclusively for Bamford, encased in<br />
a hand-carved alabaster vessel with a lid to preserve the<br />
candle when not in use. Each vessel is inscribed with a<br />
meaningful verse chosen by Carole Bamford, featuring<br />
the words of Sufi poet Rumi and Haiku poet Matsuo Bashō.<br />
Made in the UK in a carbon neutral workshop, the hand-poured<br />
candles contain natural wax made from a combination of rapeseed,<br />
carnauba and beeswax and a lead-free cotton wick.
