with six hot dogs with<br />
buns. More hot dogs will<br />
be brought to a contestant<br />
during the consumption of<br />
the last hot dog. Each contestant<br />
will also begin the<br />
contest with two glasses of<br />
water to drink while consuming<br />
the hot dogs. Additional<br />
water provided as<br />
needed.<br />
Winner will receive $204<br />
from the B’nai B’rith Booth<br />
at the <strong>Topsfield</strong> <strong>Fair</strong>.<br />
Ticket prices for the <strong>2022</strong><br />
<strong>Topsfield</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> are $20 each<br />
every day. Discount admission<br />
tickets are available<br />

through Sept. 29.<br />
General Admission discount<br />
tickets can be purchased<br />
for only $15 plus a<br />
two dollar convenience fee<br />
with the <strong>Fair</strong>’s new electronic<br />
ticket system. Tickets<br />
are good any day during<br />
the <strong>Fair</strong>’s 11-day run.<br />
A three-day pass, good<br />
any three days, is available<br />
for $45 plus a three dollar<br />
convenience fee. Children<br />
under eight are free with<br />
an adult admission ticket.<br />

Pete Davekos of Danvers<br />
was declared the winner of<br />
the 2021 <strong>Topsfield</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> Hot<br />
Dog Eating Contest.<br />
Davekos beat fifteen other<br />
contestants who competed<br />
in front of a large crowd on<br />
the Trianon Stage by eating<br />
9 ½ quarter-pound hot dogs<br />
(the equivalent of 19 standard<br />
hot dogs) in buns in<br />
the allotted seven-minute<br />
time period. Davekos tied<br />
his own record, which he set<br />
at the 2019 contest.<br />
