TAILOR-MADE ITINERARY
Discover South Africa
with The Royal Portfolio
DAYS 4-5 - CAPE WINELANDS
After three days exploring Cape Town, travel east by
private car to Franschhoek amid the mountains and
vineyards of the scenic Cape Winelands. Check in
for two nights at La Residence, a regular fixture in
roundups of the world’s top hotels. Enjoy sampling
the estate’s wines and be sure to book a tour of the
vineyards and orchards.
Royal Malewane. This intimate safari lodge provides
a front-row seat to the African wilderness. Service is
polished but unstuffy, the safari guides are among the
most experienced in Africa, and elephants come to
drink from the waterhole out front. Take a light aircraft
flight to Johannesburg on day 11 to connect with your
flight home.
