Welcome to the inaugural edition of our Onis
newsletter! We look forward to providing you with
this newsletter monthly to share information about
new and existing projects, upcoming events, and
operational updates. The team will be sharing short
biographies of your co-workers so you can learn more
about those that you work with daily as well as those
on other teams that you pass regularly at the coffee
bar. Please share any requests for information to
be included in upcoming editions and let us know if
you would like to contribute to a future section. We
look forward to your inputs and hope you enjoy your
reading!
An Update from
Delivery
Edwin Solis, President Latin America
As we start the second half of 2022, I’m happy to
share that we are supporting new clients throughout
our service areas on a range of high-priority projects
and with a growth of about 50% in our workforce in
Mexico compared to the beginning of the year.
Recently we started a project of 40+ resources and
were able to staff it on time for the start of the project,
thank you to our HR and Recruitment team for the
hard work.
There will be new challenges coming but I know we
have the right team to take care of them.

Onis encourages employees
to work from the office as it
improves engagement and
team communication.
Employees working onsite
have faster access to
information, technology,
infrastructure, security, and
peer social support. We work
with a Hybrid model providing
flexibility to employees,
however, there are some
projects that require
employees to be onsite.

which will help us
generate, track, and
approve requests for all
our purchasing matters.

Continuous education is very important for us
engineers. Keeping our skills sharp and ready
for the next engagement can be the
differentiator between spending weeks on
bench or being allocated to a new project.

In a large telecom company’s project
we have learned that communication
is the most important element to
make things happen.
We are collaborating in the development of the
Center of Excellence (COE) development and
retention of talent within the company, with the
aim of forming a group of certified consultants
who can be assigned to future projects.
