Cane-line Rope
Cane-line Rope is a combination of a woven Selected PP covering (a thermoplastic fibre)
over a core of Cane-line Weave®. The material is elastic and has a soft surface that acts
like a fabric. Avoid pulling/pushing the elastic material too hard as this may cause it to
lose its shape. This weatherproof material withstands changing weather conditions, is
UV-resistant which makes it ideal for outdoor use. It is easy to maintain and can be
cleaned with ordinary household cleaners.
Cane-line Tex ®
Cane-line Tex® is a coated polyester material that is ideal for outdoor use and requires
minimal maintenance. Cushions made from Cane-line Tex® come with a QuickDryFoam®
core, ensuring maximum drainage and air circulation. This allows the cushions to dry
faster after having been exposed to rain and moisture. The QuickDryFoam® core also has
anti-bacterial protection, reducing the risk of mould and mildew forming on the cushion.
Cane-line Teak
Cane-line teak is approved and forested under the SVLK – Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu
(Indoneasia’s timber legality assurance system) certification system. Teak is a hardwood
that is ideal for outdoor use due to its high oil content. Our teak material is grade A,
meaning it is the best quality and characterised by the close grain and the warm honey
golden-brown colour. The wood acquires a silver-grey patina over time. If you wish to
retain the original golden-brown colour, we recommend treating teak furniture with a

Polypropylene
Polypropylene (PP) is a lightweight, yet strong plastic. It is heat-resistant, ensuring
durability for pieces exposed to sunlight or warmth. PP is resistant to many chemicals,
making it ideal for home use where it may encounter cleaning products.
Its water-repellent nature also suits outdoor furniture. PP's ability to maintain its shape
after bending means that chairs and tables remain stable over time. Furthermore, it's
easily recyclable, making it an environmentally conscious choice for sustainable design.
Powder coated hot dip galvanized steel
All our steel furniture is hot-dip galvanized, which by far is the best corrosion protection
of steel. Unlike only using paint which adheres to the surface of the steel, the galvanizing
creates a hard-wearing and resistant surface with extraordinarily long life and requires
only a minimum of maintenance. All our galvanized steel is afterwards powder coated for
additional protection and aesthetic purposes.
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is extremely weatherproof. However, tarnishing can occur in the form of
flash rust. This can be removed by using a stainless steel cleaner. Regular cleaning with
soapy water helps to protect the surface of the stainless steel and thus minimise the
effects of chlorine, etc. It is also advisable to wipe the frame with acid-free oil at least
twice yearly to minimise tarnishing.
Powder coated aluminium
All our aluminium furniture is powder coated. Powder coating serves as a protective layer
that is tinted in a variety of colours. Aluminium furniture is ideal for outdoor as well as
indoor use.
