chris bambery was born in Edinburgh. He is a writer, broadcaster, <strong>and</strong><br />

television producer, <strong>and</strong> the public point of contact for the Westminster<br />

All Party Parliamentary Group on <strong>Catalonia</strong>. He edited <strong>and</strong> contributed<br />

to Scotl<strong>and</strong>: Class <strong>and</strong> Nation (1999) <strong>and</strong> is author of A Rebel’s Guide to<br />

Gramsci (2006), The Second World War: A Marxist History (2013), <strong>and</strong> A<br />

People’s History of Scotl<strong>and</strong> (2014).<br />

george kerevan was born in Glasgow. He is the former snp mp for East<br />

Lothian <strong>and</strong> initiated the All Party Parliamentary Group on <strong>Catalonia</strong>. He<br />

was an accredited international observer during the October 2017 Catalan<br />

referendum. He was also a senior lecturer in economics at Napier University<br />

in Edinburgh <strong>and</strong> served nine years as associate editor of The Scotsman,<br />

where he was chief leader writer. He is a documentary film maker <strong>and</strong> was<br />

executive producer of Fog of Srebrenica which won the Special Jury Prize at<br />

the 2015 Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival. He is co-author<br />

of Tackling Timorous Economics (2017).
