on equilibrium reactions and background
postural reflexes. Using this equipment ensures
stimulation of basal sensory systems, facilitating
the development and modification of the childs
postural reflexes.

Rotating Boards
Rotating skateboards are specifically used to
treat vestibular nystagmus, as well as therapeutic
stimulation of the vestibular system in cases of
hyposensivity. Rotating equipment is also used
to develop rotational movements in the trunk
and the ability to isolate eye movement from
head movement and primitive reflexes through
strengthening flexor muscles.

This Standard Sensory Skateboard is upholstered
with a special fabric pleasant to the touch.
All edges are protected to cushion potential
collisions e.g. with walls. The skateboard
is used for treatment of dyspraxia and
stimulating the vestibular system. It is also
used for tonic labyrinthine reflex integration
through strengthening primitive reflexes on the
stomach and back. This equipment is used to
simultaneously develop and correct bilateral
motor co-ordination and strong stimulation of
linear movement receptors of the vestibular.
Every skateboard is fitted with an eyelet which
enables it to be attached to a rope and widens
the range of exercises which can be performed.
