THINGS TO DO
Hop on
Your Bike
Love biking and beer? Then you’ll want to
check out the hop-fueled ride in the Stevens
Point Area, pairing breweries and trails.
Most of this beer-lovers route is on the popular Green Circle Trail.
Start on the north side, with a visit to District 1 with beer hall vibes
before continuing to the Point Brewery where they’ve been brewing
since 1857.
• Total distance: 7.3 mi
• Green Circle Trail: While there is a more direct path between
these two beer spots, you won’t regret exploring
the scenic route – including a mural under
the Highway HH bridge.
1 District 1 Brewing Co.
200 Division St N, Stevens Point
Must try: Pedal On or the Wonderful Water Seltzer
2 Stevens Point Brewery
2617 Water St, Stevens Point
Must try: Lake Side Vacation Ale or Drop Dead Blonde
3 Optional Stop: Like wine, too? Don’t miss a stop at
Sunset Point Winery, just a short ride off of the
Green Circle Trail’s Riverfront Trail segment.
Did you know?
Pedal On was made in honor of Curbwise – a one-of-a-kind bicycle
delivery service in the Stevens Point Area. Pedal On is a modern take
on a pale ale, using cool kid hops, fruit forward yeast strain and a
restrained bitterness that make it perfect to sip after a ride.
SAFETY FIRST! Know your
limits and the laws before you
hit the road to keep it fun and
play it safe. Wear a helmet,
drink plenty of water, and avoid
beers with a high ABV. Or better
yet, pack a cooler and grab
some tasty options to enjoy
after the ride.
