Sjaan leads both the Junior Pool Rescue, and Oceans
squads at Sumner SLSC.
Sjaan volunteers countless hours every week, running
both mid week trainings, and Sunday sessions for
plenty of junior surf members.
The Sumner SLSC Pool Rescue team won the junior
section, and top overall club at the 2023 Southern
Region Pool Rescue Championships, as well as having
some members attend 2022 Pool Rescue Nationals
and achieve some great results.
Sumner was Top Overall Club at the 2023 Southern
Region Junior Championships, with many Top Overall
Competitors.
