P. 3 VMS at a Glance VMS analyzes SAP systems with the help of measurement software (600 ERP plus 400 BW metrics), very advanced statistical analysis tools and our own database containing best practice comparison values. Our customers are large companies or companies with intense use of SAP. More than 100 customers and 2,700 SAP systems (among those 650 BW Systems) so far. In many areas VMS replaces the traditional, laborious “ask people and compile their answers” way by straight forward, fast measurement and the analysis of real facts. SAP systems are unique in their huge amount of information about use, processes and quality. VMS has the drilling technique to open up that resource. VMS helps on the operational level (e.g. performance of ERP or BW, reduction of database size), on the tactical level (identification of process SLAs, weakness analysis of a supply chain) and on the strategic level (business case for consolidation, crafting the cloud architecture for SAP). The benefit of the VMS methodology is the fact-based root cause analysis of technical, organizational or financial optimization potentials. VMS supports your decision making process with facts out of your own systems as well as out of comparable environments of other companies. VMS works at fixed price or on a risk sharing basis.
