Some out of the ordinary
events have taken
place at The Grand
Victorian Wedding and
Reception Parlor in Idaho
Falls.
A Camelot-style dress
was worn by a bride
whose cake was decorated
like a castle, complete
with a drawbridge and
horse-drawn carriage, said
Susan Cummings, coordinator
at the reception center.
Another bridal couple
chased each other all the
way around the hall after
cutting the cake. “It was
quite a mess,” she
recalled. Music for one
wedding was provided by
adults playing recorders.
A member of the wedding
party was also a member
of the musical group.
One wedding featured
bridesmaids wearing leopard
print dresses. The
bride’s shoes were a leopard
print. Another wedding
in the planning
stages will have bridesmaids
in zebra print
dresses.
Babes in arms have
served as ring bearers
during some ceremonies.
