Welcome to our Adaptive Range
At Little Green Radicals, we always considered ourselves to be an inclusive
company, with everybody welcome to be part of the Little Green Radicals Family.
Our photoshoots have always been diverse, and we regularly have disabled
children taking part. It wasn’t until we received an email from Keely, desperate
to find adaptive and organic clothing for her daughter Niamh that didn’t cost the
earth, that we realised we actually weren’t as inclusive as we had first thought.
After speaking with Keely, and meeting the wonderful Niamh, Bonnie and Josie
got to work and have created a range that is bright, beautiful, functional, and
of course adaptive. We have collaborated with Purple Tuesday, the number one
brand for improving the customer experience for disabled people and their
families, who have been an amazing help, and we are hoping in the future to
broaden the collection, and make our website more accessible too with
their support.
The range we are producing is for children from 18 months to 8 years old. It is
difficult to cater for all needs, but we have added some additional features, such
as easy feeding and nappy changing access, produced from the same organic
and Fairtrade certified cotton as always, and in our staple bright and colourful
prints. We hope the range will make life easier for parents, more comfortable and
more fun for the child.
This is the first time we have created an adaptive collection, and we are sure that
improvements and tweaks will need to be made. We hope to receive feedback
from parents (both good and bad), but we didn’t want the fear of not getting it
right the first time to stop us from trying, otherwise positive change will
never happen!
So we would finally like to say, welcome to Little Green Radicals, where we hope
every child can be part of our family. every child is welcome to be a part of
our family.
