GENERAL INFORMATION<br />

Campus Mail Box<br />

Residents will have a campus mail box located at<br />

the USA Mail Hub on the ground floor of the <strong>Student</strong><br />

Center. Payment for this box is included in the housing<br />

fees. All students who live on campus are required<br />

<strong>to</strong> have an active campus mail box <strong>to</strong> receive mail.<br />

Residents will receive a box number via the housing<br />

portal along with their housing assignment. Mail is not<br />

delivered <strong>to</strong> the residence hall rooms. Additionally,<br />

all packages must be signed for and picked up at the<br />

USA Mail Hub. USA Mail Hub window service hours<br />

are Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, except on<br />

holidays. The window is closed on Saturdays and<br />

Sundays.<br />

Information and Meetings<br />

Residents are responsible for any information<br />

covered in or announced at community, building, and<br />

floor meetings as well as all information posted in<br />

residents’ buildings or emailed <strong>to</strong> residents. Residents<br />

should moni<strong>to</strong>r their JagMail for meeting notices, as<br />

some informational meetings are planned in advance<br />

and necessary <strong>to</strong> relay vital USA Housing information.<br />

Internet<br />

The University provides student access <strong>to</strong> computer<br />

resources through the email systems, University<br />

system web servers, and departmental labs located<br />

throughout campus. <strong>Student</strong>s using these resources<br />

must adhere <strong>to</strong> all policies of the University, as well<br />

as the Alabama Research and Education network<br />

and state and federal laws regarding the use of<br />

computers and computer networks. <strong>Student</strong>s found in<br />

violation are subject <strong>to</strong> University disciplinary action<br />

and/or criminal charges. University internet service<br />

privileges can be denied <strong>to</strong> anyone using University<br />

equipment or services for illegal or unethical<br />

purposes. Any such behavior will be reported <strong>to</strong><br />

appropriate University officials or law enforcement<br />
