Campus GrowthWe were very excited to add a newPre-K2 program to our earlychildhood team. We now have preschoolclasses for 2-4 year olds.The pre-school framework combinesthe PYP inquiry-based learning modelwith a heavy emphasis on Englishlanguage development while alsosupporting the mother tongue.Our young learners have a variety ofspecialist classes for the holisticdevelopment of artistic and physicalskills. The program is designed aroundthe IB PYP philosophy and establishesa strong foundation for social,emotional, physical and cognitivedevelopment in a safe, caring,explorative, play-based environment.Strengthening security is always a top priority at ISL and some of theadditional safety measures we implemented this year were:Drop arm bars-number with plate reading systemsSpeed bumps in drop off-pick-up areasUpgraded parking lot lightingReinforcement of school entrances19
