EUROPEAN NORM<br />

1 Working mobile towers shall<br />

be erected and dismantled only by<br />

competent persons. The producer’s<br />

manual shall be followed.<br />

7 Before using the mobile<br />

tower please verify that it has<br />

been assembled according to the<br />

manufacturer instructions. Make sure<br />

that the mobile tower is vertical and<br />

perfectly levelled.<br />

2 Check that all components are<br />

undamaged and they are functioning<br />

correctly. Damaged or incorrect<br />

components shall not be used.<br />

8 The mobile tower shall not be lifted<br />

or suspended.<br />

3 You only shall use original<br />

components as indicated by the<br />

manufacturer. You can ask them to the<br />

authorised retailer.<br />

9 It is not allowed to bridge between<br />

a mobile tower and a building.<br />

4 The surface on which the mobile<br />

tower is moved shall be able to support<br />

the structure. Be careful to uneven or<br />

soft grounds.<br />

10 Before the use, you shall verify<br />

that all safety measures to avoid an<br />

accidental displacement has been<br />

taken, as for instance by applying<br />

locking brakes or adjustable bases.<br />

5 No persons or materials should be<br />

on the tower during movements.<br />

11 Towers must always be climbed<br />

from the inside.<br />

6 Mobile towers shall only be moved<br />

manually and always on flat, solid<br />

and unhindered surface. Be careful to<br />

grids, manholes and raised curbs. By<br />

the moving you shouldn’t overcome<br />

the normal walking speed.<br />

12 It is not allowed to jump onto<br />

tower’s platforms’.<br />

13 Where possible, tie in the tower to<br />

a rigid structure when working outdoors<br />

or in exposed conditions.<br />
