York Gate<br />
This magical garden with Grade II National Heritage status is brimming with<br />
inspirational garden rooms inspired by the arts and crafts movement. A palette of<br />
colour from diverse plant combinations bursts to life in spring and summer displaying<br />
tulips, bulging borders, tropical plants and wildflowers. Timeless structure draws the<br />
eye in autumn and winter with a masterpiece of pattern and topiary, and a finale of<br />
snowdrops. Following the death of Sybil Spencer, York Gate was gifted to the charity<br />
Perennial to help people in horticulture and is an award-winning visitor attraction.<br />
